- 1 TBS flax seeds or flaxmeal, this replaces the egg and binds the ingredients
- 3 TBS water
- 2 TBS molasses
- 1/3 CUP sunflower (or other vegetable) oil
- 1/2 cup sugar (i use brown, you can use cane or date or maple sugar, try different ones)
- 1 CUP flour (i use Arrowhead Mills Sprouted Wheat, but any flour will do!)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- pinch of salt
